Excavations WW1 at Zonnebeke - Zonnebeke - 03/10/2017
Searching for relicts of the 3rd Battle of Ieper

Since May 2017 a number of works have been going on at Zonnebeke. The area was situated in the German area during the First World War. A piece of a tank and a number of German bunkers have been found. The site will be opened to the public on Saturday, 7 October 2017.

  • Guided walks at 14, 15 and 16h
  • The site is situated in Tresoriersstraat 10 at Zonnebeke
  • Parking is possible in the Tresoriersstraat
  • Good shoes are recommended.
