The Commonwealth War Graves Commission participated in the Open Monument Dag on Sunday 12 September 2021. One of the locations that could be visited was
Hedge Row Trench Cemetery
at Zillebeke.
Restoration works are in progress at this moment.
The CWGC was present with its dedicated staff and personnel to inform the visitors.
Most of the graves are known of believed to be buried in this cemetery.
On the guided tour the CWGC informed the public on the restoration works that are now in progress.
The gardeners told more about the machines they are using, their organisation, the flowers, the fight against weeds, ...
