Tijdens de namiddag, na Mesen, arriveerde de West Yorkshire Police Band aan Tyne Cot Cemetery, in Passendale. Tyne Cot Cemetery is een begraafplaats die ontstond rond een schuur die gekend was door de Northumberland Fusiliers als Tyne Cottage of Tyne Cot. Het lag gelegen op één van Duitslands hoofdlinies, de Flandern I-Stellung. Vandaag wordt Tyne Cot gekend als de grootste begraafplaats uit de Eerste Wereldoorlog en telt bijna 12.000 graven. Achteraan bevindt zich het Tyne Cot Missing Memorial en het New Zealand Memorial met meer dan 35.000 namen. De band speelde samen met de Passchendaele Pipes and Drums op de begraafplaats met aanwezigheid van talrijke ambassadeurs en een enorme belangstelling van een groot publiek dat zich op dat ogenblik op de begraafplaats bevond.

In the afternoon, after Messines, the West Yorkshire Police Band arrived at Tyne Cot Cemetery in Passchendaele. Tyne Cot Cemetery is a cemetery which was built around a barn known by the Northumberland Fusiliers as Tyne Cot or Tyne Cottage. It was located on one of Germany's main lines, the Flandern I-Stellung. Today Tyne Cot is known as the largest cemetery of the First World War and has more than 3,500 graves, with behind the Tyne Cot Memorial Missing and New Zealand Memorial with almost 12.000 graves. The band played together with the Passchendaele Pipes and Drums at the cemetery with presents of ambassadors and enormous interest by the high number of public which was then present at the cemetery.
