CONDON, Private, JOHN, 6322. 2nd Bn. Royal Irish Regiment. 24th May 1915. Age 14. Son of John and Mary Condon, of Waterford. Condon was said to be the youngest known battle casualty of the war. Recent investigations (Aurel Sercu - 2002-2003) show age app. 18.
Condon should be buried in LVI. F. 8. regarding the register, in fact there has probably been a mistake doing the identification in the 1920's.
