The Friends of the In Flanders Fields Museum organized a visit to the temporary exhibition War and Trauma. This took place on Friday, November 22nd, 2013 at the museum.



Welcome by Gilbert Ossieur, chairman of the Friends.





A short introduction to the exhibition by Piet Chielens of the In Flanders Fields Museum.





Many friends accepted the invitation.





And then everyone visited the exhibition on the 1st floor.







Nurses, doctors, ... active in the war.











Lots of objects from private collectionners and other museums.























Poet Ivor Gurney is also part of the exhibition.































Belgian doctor Depage was active in De Panne at the coast.
