Discover and experience the story of the First World War and the Battle of Passchendaele in the renovated and interactive exhibition at the Passchendaele Museum. Descend into the dugout (underground shelter), step into the “Passchendaele 1917” interactive exhibition and explore the reconstructed British and German trenches.
The renovated Passchendaele Museum gives you a deeper insight into the history of the battle. Thanks to an adapted storyline, enriched by personal stories and objects, the story of the First World War really comes to life in the castle.
Younger visitors can join Lisa, her nephew Louis and museum rat Maurice on a journey with a folding map and audio game during the family-friendly tour.
The Passchendaele Museum is located in the Castle Domain of Zonnebeke, where you can explore the green surroundings via various walking and cycling loops.
