Commemoration Adolf Vercruysse - Houthulst - 23/05/2025
Below are some photos of the commemoration organised for Private Adolf Vercruysse at the cemetery round the church of Houthulst. He emigrated to America and returned in WW1 to fight and die in Europe. His brother also fought in the same war and is buried in Houthulst (with the veterans). An American delegation was present to commemorate Adolf and his brother together on Friday 23 May 2025.
