A new book "Elsie & Mairi" (in Dutch) has been published by Lannoo. On Saturday, October 12t, 2013, the author Ivan Adriaenssens was present at the library at Veurne to sign his book. The new graphic novel tells the story of nurses Elsie Knocker en Mairi Chisholm during the Great War.
