Christmas Truce - Ploegsteert - 19/12/2021
Pleace find below some pictures of the annual Christmas Truce event held at Ploegsteert on Sunday 19 December 2021, near the UEFA monument situated just aside Prowse Point Military Cemetery. The event commemorates the Christmas Truce of December 1914 when the fighting stopped and the German and British soldiers left the trenches to celebrate Christmas together.
