Ploegsteert NZ Anzac Day ceremony (Frank Mahieu) - Ploegsteert - 25/04/2022
Sun and clouds but as well a really heavy rain shower were part of today's Anzac day ceremony at Berks cemetery at Ploegsteert.

This ceremony organised by the New Zealand Embassy especially honoured the New Zealand fallen of this sector. Apart from the British and Canadian men, some 80 New Zealand boys are buried here and also 180 Australians are resting here and are not forgotten. Besides the members of the New Zealand Delegation also the Australian Ambassador and military, Belgian military and local civil authorities attended. Prayers were said by the Chaplain of St. George's Memorial Church (Ypres)
