Burial three unknown soldiers from the Great War - Wijtschate - 05/04/2016
Three unknown Soldiers who were killed in action during World War One habe been buried at Derry House Cemetery, No 2, near Ypres, West Vlaanderen, Belgium.

The Soldiers were discovered in a farmer’s field in Wijtschate. Their ranks, dates of death and their Regiments are unknown as no military insignia or personal effects were found with the remains.

The service took place on Tuesday 5 April 2016 at 09:30 hours and was attended by regimental and local representatives, and the MOD’s Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre.
