At Tyne Cot Cemetery, on June 19th 2019, a rededication service was held for CAPTAIN WILLIAM MILES KINGTON DSO whose grave now officially has been identified thanks to the efforts of Michiel Vanmarcke ( and 2 other researchers). Captain Kington fell on the 20th October 1914 at Broodseinde. He served in the ranks of the 1st battalion of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Captain William Miles Kington had also seen service in the Boer war, where he was 4 times mentioned in dispatches and awarded the Distinguished Service Order, a very 'high' award for officers. Relatives of Capt. Kington were present and regimental representatives of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, Capt. Kington's regiment. 

Op Tyne Cot Cemetery, werd op 19 juni 2019 een herinwijdingsceremonie gehouden voor de grafsteen van CAPTAIN WILLIAM MILES KINGTON DSO. Zijn graf werd nu officieel erkend na grondig onderzoek van Michiel Vanmarcke (en nog  2 anderen). Captain Kington sneuvelde op 20 oktober 1914 bij Broodseinde. Hij diende in het 1st Bataljon the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Voorheen had hij ook gediend tijdens de Boerenoorlog waarbij hij 4 vermeldingen kreeg in het dagorden en de Distinguished Service Order kreeg toegekend, een hoge onderscheiding voor offcieren. Familie van Capt. Kington woonde de ceremonie bij en eveneens vertegenwoordigers van de Royal Welsh Fusiliers, het regiment van Captain Kington.
