Passchendaele Ceremony - Crest Farm - Passendale - 10/11/2019
On Sunday 10 November 2019 the end of the Battle of Passchendaele was remembered with the Passchendaele Ceremony. The ceremony started with a reflection at Crest Farm followed by a walk with candles along the Canada avenue. The walk followed the traject of the bloody last few hundred metres of the attack in 1917 and ended at the church of Passchendaele. At 20.15 the Concert On the Road to Passchendaele took place in the church. Alan Brydon composed, together with Major Gavin Stoddart, in 2017 the song 'On the Road to Passchendaele. For the concert he wrote a number of new songs.
