Burial service for nine British soldiers - Passendale - 17/11/2021

A burial service was held for nine British soldiers on Wednesday 17 November 2021 at 11.00am at Tyne Cot Cemetery, Belgium.
Second Lieutenants Leslie Wallace Ablett, Edward Douglas Bruty, Serjeant Thomas Feasby, Lance Corporal Stanley Blakeborough, Privates Harry Miller, Joseph Patrickson MM and Arnold Sanderson MM were laid to rest along with an unknown soldier of the Northumberland Fusiliers and an unknown soldier of unknown regiment.
Members of the public were welcome to attend the burial ceremony and were requested to be in the cemetery by 10.30am. Access was via the Memorial at the rear of the cemetery only. Some areas of the cemetery were accessible to members of the public on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 November 2021. Both the road in front of the cemetery and the car park at the rear were closed from midnight on Monday 15 November until 1pm on Wednesday 17 November. There was no parking either at the cemetery or on the surrounding roads and vehicle access was very limited.
