Ceremony New Zealand - Ploegsteert - 13/07/2023
On Thursday 13 July 2023 a ceremony was organized by the "Entente Patriotique" and its president François Maekelberg and the city of Comines-Warneton.

The ceremony took place at Mud Corner Cemetery at Ploegsteert where 53 soldiers from New Zealand, 31 from Australia and 1 from Great Britain are buried as victims of the Battle of Messines in June 1917. The ceremony was attended by Ambassador Diana Reaich of New Zealand.
