Donation of a remembrance stone to the In Flanders Fields Museum - Ieper - 07/06/2019
On Friday 7 June 2019, the In Flanders Fields Museum in Ieper received a remembrance stone which was made for the Belgian soldier Emile Lindekens. The soldier died on 7 October 1916, was originally buried at Hoogstade, but in 1921 transferred to the city cemetery in Schaarbeek. The stone was found in an old depot in Hoogstade, but why it was there has not been clarified.
