Lego build of Hedge Row Trench Cemetery - Ieper - 31/03/2022
31/03/2022 - Ieper
From 1 April 2022 onwards, every visitor can get to know the LEGO build of the Ypres Hedge Row Trench Cemetery for free by going to the In Flanders Fields Museum, Ypres Tourist Office or the Museum Café.
This 22,000 LEGO brick construction by Ypres residents Corneel Clarys and Youri Van Miegroet measures 2 metres by 2 metres and has a height of 30 cm. More than 100 hours were spent on it.
Hedge Row Trench Cemetery
is a Commonwealth cemetery situated in De Palingbeek in Zillebeke where 96 British and 2 Canadian soldiers are buried.
On 1 July the build will be exhibited in Talbothouse in Poperinge. During the month of August everyone can go and see it in hotel Ariane in Ypres.
