The Passchendaele Museum in Zonnebeke looks back with satisfaction on the summer of 2025. In July, 12,533 visitors came by, and in August, 7,562. Together, this amounts to 20,095 visitors, an increase of 8.2% compared to the summer of 2024.
Chair Joachim Jonckheere is pleased with the results: ‘Many visitors found their way to our renovated museum during the summer holidays. No less than 63% came individually and the rest in groups, which is the opposite of what we see during spring. The new layout and experience are clearly popular and ensure that we continue to appeal to a wide audience.’
