The decorative monogram 'LV' in the double window doors, separating the front from the back hall, is a souvenir commemorating the marriage of the last owner Georges Lebbe to Mathilde Vuylsteke. Also the hop cones carved in the newel post of the staircase refers to the former inhabitants.
